Stena Troyer, Chapter Chair of the South Sound Surfrider Foundation and Science Specialist for Harbor Wildwatch, will discuss the Blue Water Task Force program. This program monitors harmful bacteria at local recreation sites INCLUDING Austin Park. Surfrider chapters then use this water testing data to raise awareness of local pollution problems and to bring together communities to implement solutions.
This virtual presentation will be hosted by our Executive Director, Stephanie Lile. We hope you’ll join us as we learn more about the waters that surround us and how important it is to keep them clean.
