Schoolhouse Sessions at 11:30am and 1:30pm

Did you know HHM has a living history program, the Midway School Experience, where students “go to school” in 1915 in our historic schoolhouse? The program is usually only available for school field trips, but for one day this summer, anyone can participate in this fun and immersive experience. Your child will become a student in the early days of education in Gig Harbor, taught by a real schoolmarm!

But that’s not all, throughout the day in our galleries we will also have story time, old-fashioned crafts, games, a history hunt, and hands-on artifacts. Everyone is welcome!
