Join Harbor History Museum for the first film showing of 2016. We are excited to announce that on Friday, May 13th, the Museum will be offering a showing of Threads and a panel with its directors and producers, Gig Harbor locals Cathy Stevulak and Leonard Hill.

Threads offers a picture of the unique life of Surayia Rahman, Bangladeshi artist and embroiderer. In addition to her work as an accomplished craftswoman, Suraiya has dedicated her life to helping women of all backgrounds in Bangladesh develop skills, training, and economic self-sufficiency.

Threads will show at 6:00pm. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Purchase tickets online at Eventbrite or by calling 253-858-6722. Lights snacks and a cash bar will be available.
