Third Thursdays at the Museum: Hook Me Up

Harbor History Museum is excited to invite the talented, energetic  quartet, Hook Me Up, for a boisterous and foot-tapping performance at the Museum on Thursday, April 14th from 7:00-8:30pm.

If you're looking for a group that sounds great AND knows how to have a great time, go no further than Hook Me Up. This fun, funky jazz, blues, and pop group is based in Tacoma, Washington. While the musicians of this band come from different backgrounds, they all know how to get their groove on. Hook Me Up features the following performers: Tracey D. Hooker, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter; Jim Cochran, pianist for numerous popular Pacific Northwest groups such as the Groovin' Higher Jazz Orchestra; Osama Afifi, a bassist who has performed with everyone from Yani to Vanessa Paradis; and Aaron Hennings, one of the Northwest's finest drummers, who has played with jazz favorites such as Woody Woodhouse and Doc Svererson.

Wearing your dancing shoes--this group is sure to get your feet moving!

Doors will open at 6:30pm. The Museum will offer light snacks and a cash bar. Tickets are available online at our EventBrite page. For questions about Third Thursdays at the Museum, contact Alphild Dick, Marketing & Events Coordinator at alphildd@harborhistorymuseum.org or 253-858-6722 ext. 5.
