Third Thursdays at the Museum: Richard Twice [Folk Music]

Harbor History Museum welcomes back legendary singer-songwriter Richard Twice for our August 18th Third Thursday concert. This talented musician wowed us with his 2015 show--don't miss out on this amazing encore performance.

Richard Atkins' unique life has had many twists and turns, and more than one brush with super stardom. After learning how to play the guitar while immobilized with a broken leg at the age of 17, he has never been far from his pen, paper, and guitar, even after life led him away from the stage. Richard does not perform regularly, so it is an enormous treat to have him join us with his evocative lyrics and acoustic guitar!

This Third Thursday performance will be accompanied by the premier of the short animated documentary film, Richard Twice, by documentarian Matthew Salton. Based on the life of Richard Atkins, this film showcases the skillful artistry of both the musician and filmmaker alike.

Tickets are $18 for members and $25 for non-members and includes admission to the Museum's exhibits for the evening. Doors open for happy hour at 6:00pm, which includes complimentary snacks and a cash bar featuring beer from 7Seas Brewery and regional wines. To get tickets, visit our Buy Tickets page.
